Originally entered the League as Coventry in 1974, having won the NIT (and the
Inter-Area Tournament) as Warwickshire.
In
1980 the club moved to Birmingham, to play at the new Aston Villa Leisure
Centre, and won the League Championship in their first season there, as Team
Fiat.
In
1982, changed name to Birmingham Bullets.
1988;
having finished fourth in BBL (still called Division 1), opted to move down to
Division Two. Chose to rejoin BBL in 1991, having won Div. 2 play-off
Championship.
Having played at both
Birmingham Indoor Arena and the National Exhibition Centre, the Bullets were
back at Aston Villa, but fell out with the administrators of the Centre, and
moved again, in 2003, to Birmingham Sports Centre. 2004 found them playing at
North Solihull Sports Centre.
Opted to "sit out for a year" in
2006, to give them time to attempt to "relocate"
