Oxford Brookes University entered the new, regionalised, EBL4 in 2006.
The team initially included a number of non-student players in addition to the students themselves, so as to help keep the team competitive. This included some players who were previously involved with the now defunct Oxford Devils team at Division 1 level.
In future seasons, it is hoped that the National League status will also help recruit higher calibre student players to the University to also help within BUSA competition.
Won the Midlands/South division in their first season, and gained immediate promotion.
