New entrant into EBL3 in 2005, having competed at U-18 and U-16 level for several years.

Gloucestershire Giants was formed in 2005, to provide local players the opportunity of graduating to EBL level, either through the existing junior teams, or from Gloucestershire League clubs.  A policy decision was made to avoid importing players and to concentrate on home-grown Gloucestershire talent.

Team Gloster (formerly Gloster Jets) have been strongly represented in the EBL junior divisions since 1981.  The club produced a number of England international players at various age levels, and reached two national finals. However, there was no pathway for these home-produced players to senior level: many travelled to study around the country, whilst others strengthened the various EBL teams within 50 miles of Gloucester.  And so, the Giants were born….

Many of the Giants home fixtures are double headed with those of Team Gloster Jets in U16 Premier South Division.

Finished 8th (of 9) in EBL3 South-West in their first season, and transferred to new EBL4 South in 2006.
