HISTORY:

The Carnegie Centre in Leeds had, for many years, been the focus of a thriving basketball programme, with several NBL teams playing their games there in the past.

In 2006 a new "Leeds Met Carnegie" team entered the regionalised, EBL4.

Won the division at the first attempt, and also lifted the Men's Shield, beating several EBL3 teams on the way! Promoted to EBL3 North.

Proved highly competitive again, at the higher level, and claimed their second consecutive league title. Went on to win the Championship Final, and a second consecutive promotion.
