With only two Divisions (Premier North and South), there are inevitably less entrants for the Junior Women's Cup than for any of the other Sureshot competitions.

However three "non-league" teams (Doncaster, Sheffield Hatters and Taunton) have entered, but with three League teams either having chosen not to enter, or failing to do so by the deadline, four teams have a bye straight through to the quarter finals.

Missing teams are: Richmond PS ; Leicester PN ; Tyne & Wear PN .
