03/08:    Sorry - Pawprint is now on annual holiday for a couple of weeks. Instead of the excitement of sitting at my laptop I'm going to have to make do with lying by the pool in the sun, while forcing myself to drink copious amounts of beer to keep cool. 29/07:    Poland beat Portugal in European Championships earlier today. England Under-18 Men were within 30 seconds of joining Poland in the quarter finals, but gave up their lead and then collapsed in overtime against Romania, to finish fifth in the Group - and will play-off for 17th-20th places!   EB Report by Dave Ryan

28/07:    After their excellent win over Portugal, defeat for England Under-18 Men against Belarus (who were already out of contention for a 1/4 final place!) in European Championships leaves them needing to beat Romania (who cannot qualify) tomorrow, and hope that unbeaten Group leaders Poland beat PortugalEB Report by Dave Ryan

16/07:   Great Britain round off a disastrous Group stage in Under-20 Women's Division B with a thrashing by Group winners Slovak Republic.

Scotland cruise through to the semi-finals of European U-16 Women's Division C, where they are likely to meet Albania.

15/07:   Defeat to Hungary in Under-20 Women's Division B condemns Great Britain to a two-leg play-off for 9th and 10th places, against Portugal.

Scotland are in a strong position to reach the semi-finals of European U-16 Women's Division C, with a victory yesterday over Malta, and a victory today for the Maltese against hosts Monaco.
